Frank Guilles furniture designs were led by his belief in function, utility and simplicity, his elegant furniture was refined and he took commissions from Heals and Kandya Ltd for whom he restyled The Jason Chair originally designed by Carl Jacobs, Franks design had a seat constructed of a single sheet of laminate and a steel leg base. Frank Guilles kitchen furniture designs for Kandya were showcased at The 1951 Festival of Britain.
