Delivery Information

Delivery :

We use a designated courier for deliveries arranged through us. Deliveries are made weekly to London and the Home Counties and will normally be within working hours i.e. between 9am and 5pm.

Our courier has great experience at handling furniture and antiques, your goods will be taken great care of and our courier will need assistance, to be arranged by yourselves, in lifting items of furniture off his van and into your home.

Please contact us when placing your order and prior to delivery if your home is anything other than at ground floor level.

 

Delivery Charges :

For purchases over £500.00 delivery is free within England and Wales.

Additional charges and timescales to Scotland, the Borders and Cornwall.

For smaller purchases delivery charges will always be kept at a realistic and reasonable level.

An example - 4 x dining chairs within the M25 - £40.00

                    - Sideboard - £55.00

Smaller purchases will be sent via Royal Mail on a signed for service.

Alternatively you are welcome to arrange your own courier with whom we are happy to liaise with for collection.

International Deliveries:

For International deliveries we use a very experienced shipper in the south of England. When you have decided that the item we have for sale is perfect for you do please make contact with us to arrange a quote for your shipping needs.

 

Returns / Refund policy :

We source and sell goods which have had a previous life and endeavour to describe them as fully as possible.

These items are antique or vintage and will often have marks, dents, variations of surface texture, re-polished surfaces, minor scratches or losses, sympathetic replacements, retouching, relining and other issues naturally associated with use and age which form part of the appearance of an antique or vintage item.

We would not offer for sale any item which is not substantially complete or in a minimum acceptable condition for the purpose for which it is being sold. Small signs of wear are normal and appropriate to the authenticity of Antique and Vintage goods. By placing an order and purchasing an item you are deemed to acknowledge this.

We shall not be liable for any defect in the goods arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, accident and / or negligence by you or any third party.

We shall not be liable if you use the goods in a way that we or the manufacturers do not recommend, we shall not be liable for any alteration or repair you carry out without our written approval, we recommend that all electrical goods are inspected, tested, certified and installed by a qualified electrician. We will not be liable for any loss, injury or death caused by electrical goods that have not been inspected, tested and certified by a qualified electrician.

We will provide a full refund of the purchase price ( excluding all transportation costs) providing the item is returned to us in its original condition and within 7 days of your receipt of it.
